The Travel Agent Podcast TAP Trips/FAM Terms and Conditions

 

I. Participant Terms and Conditions:

By submitting this FAM request, I attest that the information provided is accurate and agree to provide verification if requested by The Travel Agent Podcast or the sponsoring supplier/destination. Additionally, if my application is approved, I have thoroughly reviewed and understand, agree to the following participation terms and conditions:

  1. Professional Conduct: I agree to uphold the highest professional standards of behavior, dress and decorum throughout the TAP Trips FAM and to maintain professional respect for trip participants, suppliers or media. Maintain professionalism at all times and adhere to scheduled itinerary. Please smoke in appropriate places – designated for smoking. Please do NOT drink excessively (overdrinking is a reflection on the entire group). Dress appropriately-follow the established dress codes.

  2. Full Participation: I agree to participate in all planned group activities such as site inspections, seminars, receptions and meals as indicated in the supplier itinerary. I will advise the supplier trip leaders immediately if I am unable to join group activities due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances. Agent room assignments are confirmed based on availability at time of check-in. Please do not request to be upgraded while at the properties. Do not make any changes to the scheduled events and itinerary.

  3. Non-Solicitation: I agree that I will not attempt to recruit, influence, promote, or incentivize other trip participants for employment or recruit as an Independent contractor to my agency. I further agree not to approach suppliers for employment. No soliciting of guests on the resort property to change future bookings to their agency or to another resort or destination. No Soliciting of travel agents, guests or employees to join any MLM (Multi-Level Marketing Agency). No soliciting of travel agents, guests or employees to join another travel agency. Participants on this trip are instructed to report such behavior to The Travel Agent Podcast representatives immediately. 

  4. Resulting Sales: I agree all sales resulting from this TAP Trips FAM experience will be tracked to The Travel Agent Podcast Network. I understand The Travel Agent Podcast, or a participating supplier/destination may request subsequent sales reports or information.

  5. Photographers and/or videographers will be present in some cases: By completing the registration process, I acknowledge that fact and provide The Travel Agent Podcast Network permission to use any photos or videos you may appear in for promotional and marketing purposes including, but not limited to, use in printed publications, on websites or on social media platforms.

Participation Ts & Cs

By signing below, I understand and agree that failure to abide by these TAP Trips (FAM) participation terms and conditions may affect consideration for future TAP Trips FAM participation or, at The Travel Agent Podcast or sponsoring supplier/destination’s discretion, result in immediate removal from the TAP Trips FAM at participant’s expense. 

 

The Travel Agent Podcast is acting as a facilitator for its suppliers and is not the direct source or supplier of the travel services. By approving the use of these suppliers, the traveler agrees not to hold The Travel Agent Podcast or its Team Members responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission causing injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

The Travel Agent Podcast is not responsible for, nor can it be held liable for, any injury, damage, or loss suffered because of any conditions, actions, or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.

 

Travel to many parts of the world may involve exposure to a variety of health and/or safety hazards, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, and warfare. The Travel Agent Podcast is not responsible for advising travelers of whether they should travel to any particular place at any particular time. It is the traveler’s responsibility to stay informed by referring to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov).

 

PROOF OF IDENTITY –

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires passengers to carry a government-issued identification (ID) card in order to board a flight. The name, date of birth, and gender that appear on the traveler’s ID card must exactly match the same information that is listed on the airline ticket and in the booking records.

 

International travel requires travelers to have a valid US Passport and may also require one or more Visas, depending upon the traveler’s destination and nationality.

 

Travelers under the age of 18 not traveling with both parents may need additional special or legal documentation to travel.

 

It is the traveler’s responsibility to be aware of, obtain, and provide the proper documentation required for their trip. Failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding, undue delays, and/or fees resulting in an additional cost to the traveler(s). The Travel Agent Podcast is not responsible for these fees and no refunds will be made.

RATES & INCREASES –

All quoted rates are subject to change without notice until an initial deposit or payment has been made. Discounted fares typically involve restrictions and changing any aspects of travel arrangements may result in additional payment due. All The Travel Agent FAM trips are non-refundable.

 

The Travel Agent Podcast is not responsible for denied passage or entry for non-US passport holders.

 

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. 

Non-Refundable: Payment is non-refundable once authorized. The Travel Agent Podcast reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a trip participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary or services whenever the company deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants, and to cancel a tour at any time. If The Travel Agent Podcast cancels a trip, an alternative date or a voucher for the full amount paid is the sole remedy of the traveler.

Trip Confirmation: You will be notified by email once your application is accepted. Do NOT purchase domestic airline tickets until you have received Fam trip confirmation from The Travel Agent Podcast, and your payment has been processed. Signing this contract does not guarantee that you will be selected for The Travel Agent Podcast TAP Trips FAM however it is a requirement to be considered and to move forward in the process.  

Tipping: Personal tipping is left at passenger’s discretion. Our guides and drivers are very competent, and it is recommended that you show your appreciation for their services with a $5 to $10 per person per day tipping.

Domestic and International Air: Participants are responsible for their own flights to/from domestic US to connect with the int’l flights. No air deviations are permitted. The Travel Agent Podcast has no control over flight schedule changes, fare or tax increases; therefore any fare or tax increases will be reflected until the time of ticketing. The Travel Agent Podcast will not and cannot handle individual requests pertaining to air transportation including but not limited to seat assignments, special meals, frequent flyer miles or similar. All such requests must be handled directly between the passenger and the respective airline. Luggage is at traveler’s risk unless insured.

Not included: Tour prices do not include items not specified above: such as a passport or visa costs if applicable, meals that are not included in the tour, tips, laundry, mineral water, excess baggage, and items of purely personal nature. Shipping costs of your travel documents are not included.

Cancellation: Payments are non-refundable. Unused tour features are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

 

 PROOF OF INSURANCE WILL NEED TO BE PROVIDED WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF PAYMENT.

 

II. Covid-19 Disclaimer/Waiver:

In addition, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

 

As the worldwide COVID-19 corona-virus pandemic remains ongoing at this time, I acknowledge that for this reason, and other reasons not reasonably foreseeable at this time, these travel plans may be interrupted or canceled by the supplier that is providing them, a government entity or other third party over which The Travel Agent Podcast has no control. I further acknowledge that the supplier's own cancellation, re-booking and refund policies, subject to any applicable law that is now or may later be in effect, will govern my rights and remedies, including my right to receive a refund, in such an event. Moreover, I understand that should I elect to purchase travel insurance, the terms of the policy will dictate whether, and to what extent, coverage for any financial loss may exist under the circumstances. By signing below, I hereby agree to hold The Travel Agent Podcast harmless and release the agency from any and all liability for any damages, including but not limited to monetary losses, I may incur as a result of such interruption or cancellation of these travel plans.  

 

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while traveling. Such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and possible death. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with The Travel Agent Podcast.  

 

As travel opens around the world, all destinations, airports, air carriers, hotels, restaurants, transfer companies, car rental companies, shops and excursions have established COVID-19 safety measures and precautions that may change from day to day. These safety measures may include, but are not limited to: curfews, attraction closings and reduced hours, size of group gatherings, social distancing requirements, health screenings, self-quarantine requirements and COVID test results. By signing this agreement, I accept ultimate responsibility for myself and my traveling party to have all the necessary provisions for travel (such as COVID test results, pre-travel questionnaires, etc.) Moreover, I understand that I should assume responsibility for the necessary documents (such as COVID test results, pre-travel questionnaires, etc.) considering COVID-19, in order to travel to my specific destination. 


 

COVID-19 Risk Acceptance

By initialing this box, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and any other airborne viruses. Internova/The Travel Agent Podcast is not liable if I become sick or contract COVID-19 during travel. Internova/The Travel Agent Podcast strongly recommends each traveler to assess their level of risk tolerance. If I am traveling outside of North America, I am responsible for checking all travel related requirements of the countries I am visiting and I am 100% liable for any paperwork, testing and testing procedures required by each country, state or province of the local laws in each country. Any disrupted travel due to non-compliance with countries protocol due to Covid-19 is the full responsibility of the traveler. *

 

We urge you to check the latest guidance from the CDC and the State Department travel advisories, and review the individual supplier’s websites before traveling (CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-in-the-us.html, US State Department: https://covid19.state.gov/, or https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/latest-travel-health-advice.html). 

As standard practice, you will be required to provide a major credit card in your name upon check in at the hotel for any incidental expenses. You may also need a personal credit card for other incidentals.
